Our fixed-price jobs are available in Little Thurrock at the same prices as the rest of the Thurrock area, and we are about 15 minutes away. The hard water here (263 ppm) keeps us busy with tap cartridges, ball valves and immersion elements, which is why those are on the list. Gas cooker connections are common too, with 81% of homes on mains gas.
Some plumbing jobs come up so often that we can price them before we arrive. Replacing a tap, a shower cartridge, a toilet syphon or ball valve, an immersion element or a radiator valve, connecting a washing machine or dishwasher, fitting an outside tap or connecting a gas cooker are all jobs with a known scope and a known price.
You tell us the job when you call or book online, we confirm the price, and the engineer arrives with the parts. If something turns out to be different when we get there, for example a seized isolation valve or pipework that has to be altered, we tell you and agree any change before carrying on. Jobs not on the list are quoted before we start.
Fixed-price plumbing jobs start from £90, and a gas hob or cooker connection is £120 including the bayonet, hose and gas safety check. Family run, Gas Safe registered (925538), and more than 40 years in the trade across Essex.

Questions about fixed-price plumbing jobs in Little Thurrock
How much are the fixed-price jobs?
Tap replacement, tap washer and cartridge replacement, shower cartridge replacement, toilet syphon and ball valve replacement, immersion element replacement and outside tap installation are from £90. A gas hob or cooker installation is £120. Bath wastes, appliance installations, soil stacks, tank ball valves and radiator valves are quoted before we start.
How quickly can you do a fixed-price job?
Call 01268 855605 or book online and we will offer the earliest date that suits you. Because the job and the parts are known in advance, the engineer arrives ready to do it in one visit. A job that has become urgent, such as a toilet that will not stop running, is prioritised.
What does the price include?
The engineer's time and the standard part for the job, such as a syphon, ball valve, cartridge or immersion element. If you have bought your own tap or shower, we fit that. Anything unusual, such as a designer tap needing new tails or a valve that has seized, is agreed with you before we go on.
Do I need to buy the parts first?
Not for the standard parts, which we carry. For a new tap, shower or outside tap kit you can buy what you like and we fit it, or tell us what you want and we will bring a suitable one. Check the tap or shower suits your water pressure before buying, or ask us.
