Which floors can it go under?
Screed floors in new extensions take pipe clipped to insulation before the screed is poured. Existing solid floors can take a low-profile overlay board. Timber floors can have pipe laid between the joists with spreader plates. Tile and stone conduct heat best, engineered wood works well, and thick carpet with underlay holds the heat back.
