Likely causes
- Supply problem in the property or the area
- Poor connection at the boiler's fused spur
- Extension leads or heavily loaded circuits dragging the voltage down
What you can safely check
- Check whether lights are dim or other appliances are misbehaving
- Check the boiler's fused spur or plug is secure and switched on
- Reset the boiler once when the supply has settled
What our engineer does
We measure the voltage at the boiler; if the fault is in the house wiring we advise an electrician, and if the boiler is at fault we repair it. Anything involving the gas supply, gas valve, combustion chamber, flue, fan, PCB or heat exchanger must be left to a Gas Safe registered engineer and must not be attempted by the householder.
Models this applies to: Baxi 600, Baxi 800, Baxi Platinum, Baxi EcoBlue, Baxi Duo-tec.
Other Baxi codes
Guidance only. Fault codes vary by model and firmware; anything involving gas, the flue, the fan, the gas valve, the PCB or the heat exchanger must be done by a Gas Safe registered engineer.
